Zone Conference

What's up everyone im writing this Sunday night so I'm way more locked in.

So yeah it was a fantastic week I'm so hyped for the work that's going on in this area and the work that's being done in this mission! President and sister Parker are Dawgs they know what's up and I think there's gonna be some great changes in the Mish.

Anyways the week started off kinda slow not gonna lie. But on Wednesday we have an interesting dinner. Our freind Cheyenne wanted us to come over for dinner so we pull up and bro isn't even there. He showed up like 45 mins late....an then started cooking dinner. And he just got out of prison, and idk who's all been to prison but he made this thing called tossup... basically you put seran wrap on the table then put nachos on the serang wrap...no plates. It was hype.

Thursday was the least productive day of my mission. We had district council. Weekly planning. And some class I gotta go to every Thursday night.

But Friday was hype we had zone conference and peter parker and sister Parker just talked about baptism and trained us on inviting people to be baptized. And since zone conference the mission has put 30 people on date.

Right after zone conference we had a lesson with Jose, and we used the training we got and put him on date.

Then Saturday morning, we had a lesson with Nathan & Destiny and they are so cool! We talked to them about baptism as well and they're so with it. They're getting dunked August 31st...right after transfers. But yeah basically they keep saying they wish they were mormons a long time ago.

And yeah that's about it for the week.

Hope yall had a fire week and drank lots of water.

High Desert on top

Wow it was a crazy week! We had 12 lessons planned for Tuesday because we were told that we didn't have to pick up our trainees until Wednesday night....but on Monday night we got a call from the assistants and they said that we were coming down to salem for two days instead. So that smoked like 15 lessons right there.

But I got to run it up in Salem with my boy elder Blackwell! He's so funny I hope were Comps at some point. So we were in his area for a day and a half but he had just got there too and he didn't have his area book so we just knocked for 10 hours. But it was a good time salem is so golden we found a bunch of people for them to teach.

So then Wednesday night we drive up to Newberg to pick up our trainees and ut was a good time they took videos and stuff but I haven't seen them yet. I'm with Elder Torres he's from park city and he's a dawg.

I had to move apartments because bend got four more Elders but this new one is so nice we got two bathrooms and two showers which is a steal out here. But we didn't get back to our area until Thursday afternoon. Oh and also I got a new phone number so we had to tell all of our friends that which was mega annoying. Not to mention is was the sisters number so now we get all these texts from the members calling us sisters.

Anyways something that president told us in the Trainor meeting was that we aren't allowed to knock with the trainees....I love knocking. Idk what I'm gonna do but I'm gonna email pres tonight and see if I can still do it a little bit everyday still.

We had a couple people at church on sunday which was hype, our boy mark pulled up he's a dawg. He really liked the service and hopefully when we meet with him this week we can set a baptismal date with him.

Yeah it's kinda crazy right now cause I'm trying to meet all the sisters friends that im teaching now... we have like 80 green dots now which is just people that were teaching so were mega busy and I'm doing my best to teach elder Torres while also trying to figure all this out.

But all of it has just added to my testimony just knowing that we can always lean on jesus christ when we need him! Last week was rough and this next one will be too but I'm excited that I get to do the Lord's work every day! Being a missionary is so fun, I know it's really far away but I might end up extending my mission so I can do this as long as I can!

Hope yall have a great week!

Transfers!

Wow this is gonna be a crazy week! So we got transfer calls last night and with the new mission president I figured he probably wouldn't change a whole lot his first transfer... but 50% of the mission got transferred. So my area used to have a set of Elders and a set of sister because it's on of the biggest areas in the mission.  We'll now it's just one of set of Elders... just me..and MY TRAINEEE!

I'm so hyped to train! I feel like I just got out of training so it's weird that now I'm training someone but it'll be fun I caht wait to pick whoever he is up haha.

But yeah since they moved the sister out if the area I have to teach all of their friends now. So these next couple weeks I'm going to pretty much be covering two areas with a trainee. Pray for me.

Anyways last week was a blast we have so many cool friends and I'm so hyped I get to teach them still we have one friend named kelsey who we put on date for baptism yesterday. And a couple other friends tags will be doing the same this next week.

I love it out here in bend if yall ever coke out to Oregon for some reason you gotta go to bend it's probably the only cool place in Oregon but yeah it's a good time.

I'm about to get a haircut so hopefully I look drip.

Also I have to move apartments but only like 10 minutes away and it's just gonna be me and my comp and we gonna have two bathrooms and like a walk in closet apparently so yeah I'm pretty excited.

Anyways yeah that's about it, it's pretty chill out here you know.

4th of Julyus

 Ether 2:12

Yo it was such a good week we had some fire miracles you know what I mean.

Transfers is next week and I'm really hoping I don't have to leave bend because I live it here and I'm having such a good time and the work is just so good out here. Although people are so busy here like we have so many promising friends and they are progressing and everything they just can't meet as much as I'd like. And half the time they can't pull up to church.

Also Hispanic people are legendary

I always thought I wanted to serve in the states but now that im here I'm starting to think it would be such a good time in Africa or Brazil. But hey this is where I need to be.

Anyways we found this dude named garret this week and he's a dawg he has a book of mormon he just had to find it and it took a couple days but he did find it. He's super cool we just gotta get him to come to church next week and yeah it'll be lit.

The fourth of July is my favorite holiday ever so it was sad to be out here where I can't even wear my trump shirt. But it was a good time we hung out with members and played some volleyball and did some public contacting but no one cared to talk to us.

Anyways god bless America, God bless out troops, and gentleman start your engines.

Hope yall have a great week

Flightcrew

Yo I haven't done one of these Ina minute and so much has happened so I gotta make one real quick.

So TREVOR GOT BAPTIZED he's such a dawg I love him so much I was able to watch it over FaceTime and it was so cool he's gonna be such a good mormon.

I had such a crazy week this week so many cool miracles. I was on exchange with Elder Densley( we do a lot of those) but we went to this dude named bobs house and it was his second lesson and we were like yo should we put him on date...and we were like yeauh...so we did it was so hype. And then later that day we were knocking and we found this really cool lady and we put her on date for baptism on her doorstep which was so fire.

And last but not least jacob a guy we've been teaching for like a month now we just put him on date for July 26 so I better not get transfered cause I love this area and I love jacob.

We also had zone conference and it was the Philps last one and it was so sad because I love them so much and I don't want a new mission pres, but it is what it is. Anyways we had to say bye to them. Now we have to meet the new one on Saturday.

So pretty much the work in bend is so good and so hype and the spirit is here fr.

I'm learning so much and being a missionary is so cool, I'm just trying to make the most of it because this is my only chance, so I'm just working hard and finding as much joy as I can.

My testimony has grown so much and I've learned so much and i know that god and Jesus christ live everyone...ive also learned that I need to work on charity.

Anyways hope yall have a great week

Say your prayers at night cuz God will hear and answer all of them frfr.
